Please plan to attend our first Home and School Association meeting on Wednesday, August 22 from 6-7pm in the Cathedral Center Conference Room.
The HSA is a vehicle through which parents can join school administration and faculty in the education and spiritual development of students. Its purpose is to facilitate open and clear communication between parents and the school, to foster a positive atmosphere for our school community, and to promote special events that financially support and enrich the learning experience at ICCS. In short -- a successful HSA is essential to the continued growth of our school, so please get involved!
This year, ICCS is asking each family to contribute 15 hours of service to the school, outside of what is required of Middle and Upper School students. Families represented at an HSA meeting will receive one (1) hour of service hour credit. Additionally, students in that family will be allowed to dress out of uniform on a designated day.
In the past, the school has provided at minimal cost pizza or another meal families could enjoy together before HSA meetings.
This year, families are invited to attend Cafe Cathedral in Marian Hall to purchase a delicious dinner catered by our own 5th-grade teacher and experienced chef Mr. Dino Grisanti! Mr. Grisanti and his team at Farm and Fig Catering are the new official Cathedral caterers and will be serving up wonderful meals most Wednesday evenings in Marian Hall -- including the nights of our HSA meetings. Cafe Cathedral begins serving at 5pm, so you'll have plenty of time to eat before heading over to the HSA meeting.
