The great feast that unites the Mercy world is Mercy Day. Its origin dates back to September 24, 1827 when Mother Catherine McAuley opened the House on Baggot Street as a school for the education of girls and a residence for homeless women and children. In keeping with this tradition we celebrate with
an all-school Mass and our Hall of Fame Luncheon.
The Hall of Fame Award for Immaculate Conception Cathedral School was established in 2012 to annually recognize and honor alumni and friends of the school who have made a difference in the lives of others in designated categories.
