ICCS is proud to announce our Class of 2017 Valedictorian Heidi Stonecipher (upper right) and Salutatorian Anisa Lacey.
Heidi will enroll at Christian Brothers University in the fall, where she has received the 2017 Trustee Scholarship. Covering full tuition and fees, the Trustee Scholarship is the highest academic award CBU offers and is awarded to just one first-year student. Heidi was also selected by Rhodes College as a first alternate for the prestigious Clarence Day Scholarship. She is the current president of the National Honor Society; senior class vice president; and president of Mu Alpha Theta, the math honor society. Heidi has also served in leadership positions with Campus Ministry and Teen in Ministry. She has amassed hundreds of hours in community service and is an altar server and sacristan at IC Cathedral, where she and her family are long-time parishioners.
Anisa will attend Amherst College on a full tuition scholarship. She is the current Student Government president and is a member of the Beta Club; Mu Alpha Theta, the math honor society; the National Honor Society; and is a QuestBridge College Prep Scholar. She is founder of the campus Political Club and has served in numerous volunteer roles. Her community service work includes the Missionaries of Charity Summer Camp, Ronald McDonald House, and the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County. Anisa has also participated in Bridge Builders and the Hugh O'Brien Youth Conference.
