ICCS has as its core the Catholic ideal of raising a child with reverence for the mystery of creation and for its Creator.  Worship is an important part of each week.  While our students represent a variety of faith traditions, all attend Mass with their learning communities (elementary, middle, and high school) each week; appropriate to their ages, they assume ministerial functions, such as altar servers, lectors, greeters, liturgical musicians, and ministers of the Eucharist.  Each school day begins with prayer.  Middle and high school students attend annual class retreats; at the high school level, students are the retreat leaders.  One goal of our 12-year program is that students become progressively more active in worship leadership roles.

All students receive daily religious instruction.  Parents of all faith traditions have come to respect the many ways in which ICCS has brought their daughters and sons to a deeper understanding of their own religious traditions as well as the Catholic Church’s teachings.
